I've been getting absolutely horrible server connection recently, a consistent 1 bar connection, which sucks. I keep getting timed out every other minute, which is extremely annoying. It's weird, because a year or a few months ago my connection was at the very least decent, and I wasn't getting kicked every other minute.
Was just curious if anyone else is getting bad connection and if there's a way to get my connection a little better? No, I can't get a better wifi service right now, and yes, every other server I go to has decent connection for me. Thanks.

Normally, I'd think it was a firewall issue, but then it would be the same effect on other servers. Is your CPU usage any higher on minr than on other servers? I have not experienced any connection issues myself.

No, it's using about the same CPU usage as any other server.
And a quick note, for some reason I always lag whenever I die/respawn, which is weird. Maybe me just loading new chunks again.

Someone already moved this into the helpdesk, I was about to do that...
Breaking the lock on this with some advice.

Run a speedtest (speedtest.com or similar site); Is your ping greater than 50? Download speed below 5? Upload speed below 1? This means your connection may be slow or losing packets. If you are playing on a wireless connection, try connecting to your router via a wired cable and see if that changes anything when running the test.

Your rendering problem sounds like a hardware issue. If you're playing on an older machine it may be struggling to render the game.

In short, any connection issues you have are likely local to your machine. I live a significant distance (100+ miles) from where the server is located and have been connected for the past 6+ hours without any disconnects or latency.

The server moved location in early 2015 from Europe to US/Canada. This may explain the change for some people but given that your forum account states your in the US, it's likely to be an issue on your end. I connect from Australia without any issues. Perhaps you should contact your isp?
