I just saw a guy named Mo1209 on IRC, unvoiced. He was able to send messages into the server without any trouble. Is this intended? i believe it wasnt like this before.

Ill just jump on irc, but it sounds like the channel no longer requires voice, like other irc channels

No, its on the irc side, the settings have been changed or reset there, before if you tried to speak without voice, it would give a message back, and the other people on irc couldn't see it

Yep, anyone can talk without voice. I noticed this before but I thought it was intentional so I just ignored it.
