Reasons for suggestions: I think it would be a great addition for spawn and maps. It would bring a more colorful experience for players who join the server and allow us to give directions more clearly.

Agreed. It is fact that there are a lot of new players who leave the server because they can't find the maps, and there isn't always someone on to help them out (and when there is it gets incredibly stressful...).
This could be more welcoming.

Players are always asking, "Where's the parkour?"

Also I think the current spawn is too large, new players want to get straight to the action. Majority won't read the signs so we should look at redesigning our paths and signage to suit both.

The redesigning could be nice, but we shouldn't go away from our traditional design too much. We could have it as a circular spawn, multiple paths leading to different places. The traditional temple should still be there with an extended FAQ giving information about everything the player needs to know, while the FFA, FFA+, HC and Museum points should be all around the player as well.

This would also be possible with armor stands, as far as I know. (Adding name & persistent name tag and making the stand invisible)
