I have absolutely fallen in love with these games recently. I tried the demo of Civ V as well as watched a couple of videos on the others, and now I'm just waiting for the Christmas steam sales so I can get the game with all the expansion packs for a lot less than 40$ :p

As some of you may know recently Civlization: Beyond Earth was released, which also seems to be a very nice game. I'm going to definitely be checking it out as well, and I recommend you all do too.

Make sure to try the demo/pirate it before actually purchasing the game, don't want to buy something you don't like =P

Steam has a demo version avaiable. Not sure if it's based on hours or days, or just limited content.

No need to pirate it.

I never said there is a need to pirate it, just said that because some people prefer piracy to try the game over spending money for something you may not like.
The demo is basically limited on everything:
-You can play as Persia, Egypt and Greece only.
-You are limited to 100 turns
-You cannot play with mods, or multiplayer.
-You cannot get past the medieval age.
