Under both fences there should be another quartz ore. They are scriptblocked to disappear, and then using delays to reappear after a while. Yeroc explained to me a while ago that if the player loge out while the delay is in progress, the scriptblock gets stuck.

Maybe an idea is a button to let the blocks reappear..?

Ahh, I remember this from when yeroc and I played this map. I suppose one way to do it would be to not log out in the middle of a script, but of course that's unreliable. :p

The only way to fix it is to re-script the block. This is one case in which commandblocks would work better since you can use hopper-clocks without them freezing to do a test for a player.

Um, maybe make it so that the blocks re-appear each time someone enters the room? That way even if the player does log out, the next player to come inside will be able to do it just fine.

That is a potential solution, but there are a few potential issues with it:
  1. Is it a death-pit below? If not and the player does not need to go through the doorway, how will it re-trigger?
  2. In the instance of multiple people:
    1. They will have to manually re-trigger the blocks
    2. they may find that they can abuse the system

if the first player logs out, the blocks may reappear for the next player, but the scriptblocks still are broken. i totally agree on sren's idea, its way better in my opinion.
