Hey guys, I'm sorry. I didn't read the forums, and haven't been here in a while. But I thought I'd pop on after I changed my name already.
I used to be a green player, I've been coming here on and off for a few years.
I am currently trapped in my house, and was wondering if I could get my Green status back. I can tell you what is in the chests at this house, and my horse is still outside. (Hoofs, I can hear him out there).

Well, it'd be challenging to prove it. What was your old name?

We'd need to check your IP with the one on your old accounts. Due to this issue, we can't just green you on your word alone. If we did, anyone could just come on and say "Oh, i was green, i just changed my name".

To be fair, I would have had to break out of the mazes, wander a few thousand blocks away. Break into a house and claim to know what's in all the chests. And be very accurate with my guesswork, aha.

Can confirm that Jessie spawned in their original home, and checked the logs. They are an old 2011 player who beat the maze.
I have re-assigned region commands to the new name but can't for the life of me remember how to green or update points so please would another op please follow up.

Updating points would've been done with /checkpoint convert, but that took the usernames amount of points and turn it into an UUID. Sadly this does not work after you've changed your name, since there are no points bound to your name.

  • /world zero
  • /user Jessie
  • /user setgroup green
(I'm not sure which group it would be, but that's the commands that I found), blue seemed to be fish.

That's my issue, i can't remember the group names. It would appear that Jesse's points are lost sadly.
