Prior to my listen of Radiohead's Amnesiac, I didn't really care for electronic music. It just seemed like the kind of commercial crap you'd only see played at clubs that has little to no musical value. But Amnesiac was different. It was irrational and irregular in a beautiful way. So after that I wanted more. This is where I got to.

The Colour In Anything was released a few weeks ago as a surprise album from James Blake. It explores a lot of differently variants of electronic music. Thematically, I can see some commentary on modern society and I can see some simple love songs. My only complaint is that the album is too long to be truly enjoyed and there are a few tracks that feel as out of place filler. Either way, worth a listen.

These are my highlights (they're 1 minute previews, sorry):

I'm not a huge fan of electronic music either, but Robert Delong is a great artist. He's the one I could listen to on repeat.
