Who are we?
We are minecrafts 3rd oldest server and the oldest challenge and parkour dedicated server in the world. Our map dates over 7.5 years and our server has had an uptime of 99%. We have over 250 challenges which will keep you occupied for months. All of our challenges have been created by our member base who have completed our hardcore maps. It's a relatively fun game if you're playing with friends and not random idiotic toxic people who will rage at the slightest mistake. The only fault is that it's repetitive and gets boring in very little time.

In my opinion, the 2007 version is much simpler. There's membership stuff, but not "Pay real money to get this item immediately" stuff. You still have to work to get members gear.

Nothing is really pay money to get stuff on rs, unless you buy it illegally...personally, I didn't like the new version at first, then I got used to it...then I ran out of quests (I found things I could collect and sell to get the money for the bonds within a day) it started feeling very grindy again and I lost interest. Considering my skilling buddies quit because real life got too busy a long time ago, I lost my distraction towards the grind.

Not currently, but I have been considering it because the game modes I have seen look like a lot of fun. My main hold up has been lack of knowledge of people who have it.

Magic, try downloading the desktop launcher from the website. The in-browser window has been broken for years to me.
Whenever you guys hop on runescape, let me know, I'm ashamed at how many hours I wasted in middle/high school on that game...

Well, jelly, let me give you som perspective on that:
I started playing runescape free to play not very long after the dragon slayer quest was added (it was still In the news list) under the username CK9...that was back when 90% of the player base was still friendly and helpful...mostly because you had to be willing to watch the backs of others to effectively train...but that's a tangent. I started over after a week with the username Iamck (that's an i and not a L) and stuck to that account from there on out. In my second year of college (~2006) I joined a pvp/war clan called Tunescape. The combat level requirements for their three teirs were under 90 jr, 90+ main clan, 110+ elite, I went directly into the elite branch. That was the same year I got the robes.
However, I also assisted at least one person who just barely met the requirements for legends quest get theirs (just needed wilderness protection).
Funny side note, I was also made a member of the clan staff (council) within my first couple of months. Why do people on the internet keep finding me trustworthy enough to staff their communities? Lol
With regards to Gmod, if there are enough people into the idea, I'm willing to join in. I don't want to bother with public lobbies for some game modes because you know there will be hackers ruining the fun.

Yeah, I was pretty young (elementary school) when I started playing, so I never really got into any groups.
Also, GMOD is such a fun game. I have WAAY too many hours in TTT.
