Who are we?
We are minecrafts 3rd oldest server and the oldest challenge and parkour dedicated server in the world. Our map dates over 7.5 years and our server has had an uptime of 99%. We have over 250 challenges which will keep you occupied for months. All of our challenges have been created by our member base who have completed our hardcore maps. Looks like what I would choose for a factions server. Sounds like it was built over time the same way our checkpoint plugin has.

Im a little concerned that players may become overpowered too quickly with the introduction of clans. People sharing resources will allow players to have access to resouces much quicker..

Imo, tekkit is only fun when you do it with other people collaberately (i.e. building, mining together, etc.)
But it won't take long for people to be overpowered regardless of clans, but clans adds that social and competetive nature to the server.

Chill, in my opinion it makes it take longer unless the other people are in different enough time zones to be on for significantly longer. I feel bad for not remembering if it was alpha or aj that I teamed up with, but we were held up a lot because we were constantly wanting to get eachother's opinion on things as we went before finishing a project.

So i've been looking into basic clans a bit more and have decided against using it. I am a big fan of griefprevention and would like this to be run on the server. Simple Clans is not compatible with it unfortunately and i'm not too keen on the preciousstones protection plugin which simple clans uses. I want the game to be fair for teams and lone wolves. Griefprevention will allow players to team up with each other using certain commands. I will look into adding a scoreboard and k/d stats for pvp. I will enable /siege mode to make it more interesting.
